Born in Laredo, Texas, Roel Elizalde Jr, attended Texas State University where he not only ran Cross Country/Track and Field for the Bobcats, but also received a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Political Science. Mr. Elizalde Jr received his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law.
Attorney Elizalde Jr began his career as a general practitioner of law in South Texas. He moved to Fort Worth in 2017 when he accepted an offer as an Assistant Tarrant County Criminal District Attorney. After two years at the DA's Office and prior to opening up his own practice Attorney Elizalde Jr went to work for the largest criminal defense firm in the State, Dunham and Jones. Since 2017, Attorney Elizalde Jr has tried forty criminal trials, composing of both misdemeanors and felonies.
Attorney Elizalde Jr has come to be recognized as a respected defense lawyer in the field by not only his criminal defense contemporaries, but by the prosecutors he deals with in the courtroom. Attorney Elizalde Jr is fluent in Spanish and is regularly asked to translate on behalf of the court.
